It is hard to believe a week has already passed since this little guy came into the world. Nick & I were taken by surprise when he decided to come 2 weeks early ...but it all worked out just fine. There are no words to describe the overwhelming emotions I have felt becoming a mother. For the first several days I just looked at him and kept questioning if he was truly mine - did I really bring this perfect little life into the world? I think the defining moment comes when you speak to your child and they turn and look at you almost to say I know that voice...it's my Mom :)
Week One Firsts ....
- Gave Mom & Dad a golden shower with my first diaper change at home ...lol
- Visited the Dr. for a follow up bilirubin test...passed with flying colors
- Got a kiss on the head from Mazey (Mom freaked out)
- Pee'd through a record 4 pairs of jammies in one night!
- Went for my first walk with Mom
- Pooped ...this has been a challenge but we are getting it down!
