So here is what has happened over the last two months ....Nick & I were married on April 3rd at my sister Leslie's house. It was a small intimite ceremony that almost went perfect - the photographer had the day mixed up so there was a slight delay in the start time. Nick & I did pretty well keeping our emotions in check until the harp started playing and I had to hold back the tears. The ceremony was perfect and the dinner that followed was really good. In my opinion the carrot cake was the best part!! We held a reception the next day in which all of our friends and family came to congratulate us. Nick got his eclairs and german chocolate brownies for dessert.
The honeymoon ....Nick and I went to the Southern Carribean for a 7 day cruise for our honeymoon. The flight first class (compliments of our good friends) was heaven especially because we flew into San Juan. We had fabulous weather. Some highlights ....Nick would say the chicken fingers and fries, taking a zip line through the jungle, bbq ribs the last night of the trip. It was the first cruise for both of us ...I think we are in agreement if there is a next time, 5 days and go with friends. That said it was the first week long vacation for Nick in forever and was very relaxing ....and Mazey was anxiously waiting for us to return as was her babysitter - Grandma & Grandpa Norris.
Today ....since returning home, we have been working tirelessly to get Nick's house on the market which has been taking most of our free time. I am happy to note it will go on the market tomorrow!! Hopefully the next post will be a report of a quick sale :)
